My name is Karlijn Verhagen and I am 13 years old. I am from the Netherlands and I love to sing. I started singing at the age of 6 and from the age of 8 I started participating at several song contests! First in Dutch and from the age of 10 in English. My favorite singers are definitely Christina Aguilera, Beyonce, Pixie Lott and Duffy. Two years ago I started with singing lessons for once a week and this year I started with lessons given by a well known vocal coach in Holland, called Karin Nagi. I also love gymnastics! I spend 12-13 hours a week practicing gymnastics and this all keeps me pretty busy.
